Aari Embroidery is done with a hook like needle, this technique allows pretty good floral or geometric patterns, this method originates from Mughal era, Aar, the needle used in this process is the long fine needle with a hook at tits end used to pull the thread from beneath the fabric, allows creating loops, floral embroidery designs, continuous chain of stitches with beads or stones used to make it even better. Kantha embroidery is a technique originating from west Bengal, it uses simple running stitches to make repetitive patterns that results in a subtle but eye catching designs.
